Data point: prepaid overseas FHR booking part paid with $450 TC and the remainder (touch over $500) paid with card immediately triggered the email.

Also added HH number through at time of reservation, booking immediately showed up in Hilton app - solid improvement.

I did the exact same FHR booking aswell and it also triggered the $150 credit. The booking showed up in the Hilton app straight away.

4/9 - Booked Hilton Melbourne Queen Street using the $450 TC, which still left me over $500. Put in my HH number in the Hotel Loyalty number box. Booking shows up on the Hilton app almost automatically - marked as the Expedia confidental rate.
14/9 - $150 Amex Offer successfully redeemed.

Looks like the new system is working well for everyone.
