This
week we interviewed AFF member ChrisW. from Sydney. ChrisW. joined Australian Frequent Flyer in 2020 and has so far made 49 posts. |
Q:
Where did you go on your last trip? |
A:
We were very lucky to escape Sydney in mid June before the first Covid cases were detected in the Eastern suburbs. Our destination was Darwin and the Litchfield National Park for 5 days, followed by 3 days at the Gold Coast. Great time to escape the winter in Sydney and enjoy some warm and sunny days in the NT. |
Q:
Where will you go when the current travel restrictions are lifted? |
A:
There
are a lot of places I would like to go but the top 3 are Germany to visit my family, Cyprus as it has been on my list for a long time and Japan as I have been there multiple times but still never used the Shinkansen train. |
Q:
Favourite airline? |
A:
I
am usually flying Economy and with Oneworld airlines. Cathay Pacific has always been amazing, great service and a great free seat selection for Platinum Frequent Flyers. |
Q:
What's one piece of advice you would give to a new AFF member? |
A: There are a lot of friendly and helpful people on AFF and they are always happy to help. It is never too late to join. |
Q:
Favourite thread on AFF? |
A:
My favourite thread is Qantas
747 joy flight out of Canberra as it was the very last Qantas B747 flight and the reason I signed up. I was reading AFF for a while but never really signed up. During the first lockdown in 2020 and the Qantas announcement about the last B747 flights, I though it is about time to become a member and get to know a few people. I managed to meet some people before and on the flight and there are many good memories, stories and photos in that thread as it was a very special day. |
