Yes there was no problems!! However I'm still very annoyed at the Kafka-esque situation I had trying to find out in advance from either VA or Etihad customer service! Ultimately i took confidence from this forum and just turned up with 40kg baggage and hoped for the best.- flossy_be

Thankyou Thibault! My Etihad doesn't show the extra baggage allowance but I'm going to go with the advice here (and my gut) and assume I have the extra 10kg allowance. I will have my silver card and am going to print out all information I can find from VA and Etihad websites. I'm moving overseas...- flossy_be
