update: after 5 Calls I’ve managed to get someone to organise to get onto the 6:30 flight(so an hour earlier) however we will have to re-check In our bags again they can’t send it straight to lax as with my current flight…what do y’all think?

Yeah that’s good but in regards to the earlier flights I’ve called 4 times today and they wouldn’t change me. The most recent call 20 minutes ago said all earlier flights are fully booked…however if I go online now I can still buy tickets?..lol

Yeah I mean fair enough if it’s over 30 minutes but you’d think they would accomodate for all passengers and wait so fingers crossed I get to gate 15 in time.

Yeah I’m hesitant to buy a different flight as I’ve heard that would void my entire trip. Depending on the change fee for the direct I’ll have to see if it’s an option for me.

Would have a hefty fee, that’s the reason I originally chose those route as it was 1k cheaper

I’m not sure what the minimum connection time is for Sydney but both times I called them, they said 1 hour was fine :/ BNE to SYD QF507 7:40 - 9:15 SYD to LAX QF11 10:15 - 7:00
