According to the FF manager they do still follow the One World guidelines for the partnership in regards to domestic sectors which keeps it simple. I struggled to find any specific emirates rules regarding it.

Correct, I misread the rules regarding long haul vs short haul international and the 6am the next day is the cut off for that next day departure. QFF did honor the email I received and given me access to the J lounge for this trip which is appreciated.
