Hi all, I received an email today saying that if I earn 200 SC's before October, I can be fast tracked to gold status. Thing is, I have points club plus (so I have QC access already), and I am silver status too. I'm not sure if it's worth it if I should upgrade to gold as I won't be doing much...

Unsuccessful on QF94 11/Jul LAX-MEL from Y to J. Full flight, absolutely packed.

Turns out I can't select 'Defacto Partner' when presented with the option (returns an API error that the option isn't valid). Had to choose 'Wife' instead and it worked. Do they even test their systems? Sigh.

Both are very underwhelming. Both don't have any natural light, the QF Business Lounge is larger, possibly better food options, although I haven't been to the AMEX lounge since re-opening and re-branding as Centurion, so the food might be a bit better now. If I was flying QF and had lounge...

Anyone done this route before? Looking to split it over two days, with a stop in Columbus or Cleveland.
