My understanding is that you can transfer the pass to another frequent flyers account, not to the flight booking. It is up to the pax flying to link the pass to the appropriate trip or leg of the journey. If the trip or leg does not have a lounge available or accessible, it should not allow...

Does anyone know how the passes work with lap infants? I.e you can only link one pass to the ticket holder, there isn't an option to link a pass to the infant (that I can see..). I understand most of the time an infant will be waived through, however it always pays to understand the policy :)

This aligns with my current understanding as well. I contacted Inverness airport and they said they have customs facilities enabling a lm airside transfer in LHR.
