Article: Best Credit Cards for Airport Lounge Access

Surprised the Bankwest More World credit card isn't mentioned here with TEN lounge passes per year through Loungekey (approx $700 value alone) for $270 p.a.

Change to Bankwest Qantas Platinum earn rate from 8/9/23

I have the World card and I see they have dropped the bonus points completely from 1-Jan-2024. I looked into other cards but couldn't find anything close to the 10 included lounge passes which I use completely (so $600 or $700 value there?) as well as travel insurance etc....so sticking with it...

Ha! Yes, fair enough! I was just surprised that it cost the same...I was thinking it would have been cheaper. :-)

Australia to Reduce Incoming Int. Passenger Capacity from July 2021

Just heard from a friend whose wife is coming back from UK mid-Aug into Darwin using the Gov repatriation flight. It cost her $4800 GBP one way, not sure if you can pick a class on those! It is costing me exactly the same with SQ in J class so can't really see point in the Gov one tbh unless...

Travelling to Australia During COVID-19 (Discussion)

Thanks madrooster. I didn't know some, in fact most of this! Seems some very valid reasons to use a TA that I didn't think about or realise. Would you have any other advice for my particular circumstance? I don't really see there's much more I can do at this point, but would take any and all...

I see. Thank you. Yes...I am in the fortunate position that work is paying for this. It would be a different matter if I had to do this all out-of-pocket. Thank you.

Please excuse me here - I'm new but loving the forums here! I have been following madrooster and it seems he is very knowledgeable and has good info, but why do a couple of you see the need to use a good TA for these events as opposed to just booking direct? I have no idea - is madrooster a TA...
