Have flown MH a few times and found them to be Ok. Only flown economy though. How does MH compare to Qantas ? Both in economy and business.I have only flown business with Thai and Garuda so have not much to compare with.

It looks like MH flies into Rome and does not codeshare. Can I assume then that both would be the same in terms of upgrade depending on availability. Qantas only to SE Asia and MH to Rome. I guess I was just wondering if upgrades are easier to arrange on one airline over another.

i am flying Sydney to Rome ( may ) paris to Sydney ( june). Flying economy. hoping for upgrade to business. My travel agent has given me a quote on Malaysian airlines flight but am not sure whether to book this or look into qantas and request an upgrade through their FF.
