    Thanks very much for that. We are flying Air Canada in January to Vancouver - would you use Singapore KrisFlyer FF or United FF for that - sounds like United might be better if the miles don't expire? Thanks also for the tip on Skyteam ffp - not a member of any of them yet! :)
