Mine certainly is. Almost reconciled to flying J rather than F (especially given it's an award flight... though I have been very spoilt in the last few years) and given most businesses will forbid international travel at this time (my husband's has at least, and I'm sure they aren't alone)...

I called qantas as we obviously can't get qf 1 in first for the end of May (as there is no first on the 787) and they said that the options would be to be downgraded and put on the flight via perth or to be on BA or emirates etc and stay in first, but they can't say yet what the options will be...

I'm with you there. Even in F the food on BA was inedible (the time we flew it anyway). Though the cabin crew were good.

Have you considered calling them to pre-empt the issue? I see someone else here has already done that. We were on qf1 in F on 22 May, so i am anxious to see what they do with our flight as there is no longer any F. I might give them a call to find out too.

Me too. My husband is P1 so hopefully he will get a call sooner rather than later with our alternatives. Happy to do EMirates, but frankly would be happy to do J via perth too so as to avoid any extra country's quarantine etc

That's exactly my thought. And we were booked on qf1 in F for the end of May. SO looks like we will be in J via perth. Or maybe they will put us on an EK flight.
