    It's definitely Singapore airlines number. It's the usual call center where they use filipinos agents like with Citibank... the second agent has a much better english, very clear and I'm sure she's not filipino but can't really say.

    My understanding of "backtracking" is that you keep going in one direction and not go backwards to the cities you just passed through. The airline you chose has to stop at their mother base, it's not backtracking; SIA even allows you to have a complementary stopover.
