    AMEX travel disappointments

    My experience is the opposite. I recently stayed at the Kyoto Tower Hotel, one of my favourites, at a competitive price booked through Amex and using my travel credit. My room was similar to those previously booked through online sites. In fact it was a corner room with additional windows.

    Have other members changed heir credit card habits, since Amex unilaterally devalued both existing and future points transferred to Airline partners? I hope so as I feel Amex is no longer deserving of our loyalty. I have changed to using a Visa as my preferred card, with direct Qantas points...
