I'm still waiting. I didn't receive the email. But I checked with Qantas twice (Online Chat) and they said I would qualify even though I didn't receive the email. Luckily I saved the transcript.

Called up, was told it was 15 business days. So let's wait a bit longer. When someone gets their bonus, please post.

I actually got a letter saying there would be no doubling. So this is just a subsequent letter with the exact wording with the doubling included.

After enquiring twice and being told no, I finally received a letter on Friday saying my points would be doubled! I hold Edge/Explorer/Platinum Charge. Shame I didn't get this letter before I transferred 2,000,000 to Qantas for the 45% bonus. Will preserve whatever I can build up before April...

Just checked with the Live Chat, and they again have confirmed, as a Platinum Charge Cardholder, I am not automatically entitled to the doubling of points. Maybe it's because I only started at the start of this month.

Ok, so I've held Platinum Charge since the end of last month, and when I called up to see if the value of my points will be 'protected' he said No. But call us again in March and we will see what we can do for you... My points balance is 2m+, mainly because they combined my Explorer/Edge points...

This is probably the clearest indication that I won't get the bonus. But I have it on record from Qantas Live Chat that it is open to anyone, but prefer not to dispute it after the fact...

Does anyone know for certain if this is a general offer or is it actually targetted? I've just become a member of Amex Platinum and have a few points that I would like to transfer to Qantas.
