    BA lounges and First check in and security at LHR. No interest in flying Qantas anymore so Platinum will probably be lost. So much for 20 years of Platinum, but any company with the bereft service standards of Qantas does not deserve my money. It’s Qatar and Finnair for me.

    I suggest you do not do that. In my view it is CX ahead of BA. QF remains a joke. Having just had my latest experience in the lounge in Singapore I am assured there cannot be much worse.

    Last time I flew Q First the crew kindly forgot to cook my dinner and so after a 3 hour wait I went to bed hungry. Never again.

    First class upgrade on QF1

    QF First is fine as an aspiration, but is proven consistently to be an astoundingly weak experience in delivery. The A380 cabin is tired and the attitude and performance of the Qantas First crew is often the same.

    QF12 business class service fail?

    Flew QF1/2 First Class in May and July. Out of SIN on the last journey my meal was “lost”. After 4 hours I cancelled it. Sigh. That will be my last ever First fare with QF. lew
