Anybody recently had their second a year fee refunded? I’m about to tick over and get the extra 30,000 points but not really worth it if I have to pay the fee for the year. Thanks

Was this your first year annual fee or your second? Some people have said they will refund the second year fee

So NAB still do refund the remaining amount on the annual fee for their card? I’m just about to sign up and wasn’t sure if I’d be out the full amount

The extra 30,000 comes through in the next month or two from memory

Just saw you saying you applied online and not on the app. I spoke to customer support through the ANZ app and they were able to see I was eligible for the extra points and gave me the extra 30,000

I tried to ask ANZ if I was eligible for the 160k as an existing account holder but they could t answer me. I signed up through the 130k but saw the 160k offer posted afterwards. Let’s hope I’m successful lol

Did you get it the month after your hit the spend or do you need to wait the 3 month period? I only ask because I hit the spend in the first month but my statement doesn’t reflect that I’d be eligible for the bonus points

Got approved today after applying last week. Anybody know what will happen with frequent flyer points if qantas go bust lol.

Got my bonus points with my second months statement

I received a letter from NAB letting me know that my issue had a reference number but was still in a pending stage. I might even call up myself and see what will happen after the month ticks over

Will keep you all updated with how I go. Points hacks have forwarded my info to their NAB correspondent and have said I will probably hear back in 1-2 weeks ( which is fine ) I will continue to use the card as normal and hopefully get a resolution that’s positive

Thanks for the email link mate. Have copied my initial post and added some info / attached some screenshots / reference numbers for them to look into it for me. I guess they wouldn’t like knowing certain bankers may have bypassed my initial application and opted to re apply me for there own...
