The Y food on the short runs had a solid pickup Nov-Jan but have gone back to worse than pre november I think. Notice all hot food gone back to 1700+ departures and the 'snacks' have got progressively worse with little to no rotation (In WA atleast)

Did SYD-PER on EBB yesterday and went fully inland too which was weird as the 737's had all gone out to sea but makes sense now reading this thread!

SYD-PER QF651 - 3 choices on the 1425 service. Teriyaki Chicken & Fried Rice Prawn and Chorizo Paella Beef Salad Side salad of Pesto Pasta salad Went the chicken and it was quite tasty - would eat it again. Crew super attentive continually roaming topping up drinks.

Who knows what has happened, domestic Y stepped up on the intra WA during Nov and December and now flights we had a hot snack and then hot meal we now get 4 crackers and salsa......even worse than the corn chip/salsa/nut snack pack we used to get. Very odd and totally inconsistent of late.

Since the start of November the catering has had a drastic improvement. Wines are better quality after they were absolute trash, hot snacks offered at times where a piece of formerly frozen cake or a wet soggy muffin was offered, sandwich offered where it was an off brand cheese and crackers...

Took the leap, given an update for 2 people is 60k a 3 up to 6 night cruise for 2 sounds good value. The way it’s reads it’s inclusive of drinks etc too. If so even better.

I did have a South African agent tell me as a Plat that I can't request if it's not on the website, asked to be speak to a supervisor, she said it's not possible and terminated the call. Rang back and got Hobart and was requested and booked within 10 minutes. Their service is so wishy washy.
