Hi, sorry for the confusion, perhaps i should rephrase it. I got the explorer today. the week before I applied, I cancelled the existing amex. Hope that clarifies.

Hi guys, I just got my card today, a week prior to registration, I cancelled my previous amex with had gateway points. The new card came, linked to my old account with existing gateway points. Has anyone experienced this scenario?
