Singapore - to Marina Sands Bay or Not?
Sorry but I’m a No No No to MBS ! I can’t comment on accommodation there or elsewhere as I have been a SG resident and now stay with friends, but I would NOT swim in that pool for love nor money. Too many kids (if you get my drift) and the times I have been to the rooftop for coughtails the pool...- Kristie jones

Side trip from Bali?
About two years ago I did a short side trip from Bali to Yogyakarta, specifically to see Borobodur. Take advantage of the little bit of jetlag you get going from Aus to Bali and go as the first few days of your holiday if you can, because sunrise is the thing at Borobodur !
