thats true... They seem to have it pretty down pat on OzB though looking through the persons account history etc over skype before they transact Im not saying its risk free, but there are definitely ways of mitigating the risk

Qantas have staff who look into things like family transfers etc all the time, i dont believe this was a one off audit. Also if you look at the people who got their accounts closed they were doing 4-5+ transfers all to different people - a big flag! much safer to do a once off transfer to one...

Its a good read..but purely looking at the points 'dollar value' your better off transferring to some of the other partners (CX, SQ, EY..etc) That being said, if you are after SPG, you cant get much better then this :)

Amex have all your info on file already and you have just put the same information in the application... doesn't matter whether you click yes or no, Amex know if you are an existing card holder

I always select choose my limit and pick 3k... I reckon it helps with approvals Is this a thought or there's evidence to suggest this? Just curious...

Amex are always pushing me to increase the limit on my cards...you should have no trouble requesting a credit increase
