Having flown both row 32 Y regularly and Y+, it's not really worth the points for MEL-SIN imo. Better use of points is upgrading to J. The small Y cabin is very quiet, no bassinets, gets service really quickly. 32D and G can stretch one leg a bit further as the bulkhead doesn't go all the way...

DSC for my delayed booking have posted today for the first leg. IT is still behind the times ;)

I can't remember but am I right that there's an overlap between last year's promo and this year's? I wonder if that will have an impact on how speedily DSC post.

Unfortunately not (I am pretty sure this condition is the same as last year. For that one I had a Europe trip split between Qantas and Emirates-operated, all QF numbers. Only Qantas-operated received DSC)

I have a MEL-BNE weekender I haven't booked yet for the end of the month, so will do that for sure. Unfortunately my big US trip has been booked for a few months already so I'm not sure I want to cancel/rebook.

Looks like you have a targeted points promotion, not a status credits promo. The one under discussion in this thread is a general... i.e. not targeted to a specific frequent flyer. (But yay for double points too!)

Two months (from the start of my stay - not when I booked) for points to post too. Unfortunately there's no way to check if you booked from navigating from Qantas's Hotel/Airbnb page or directly through Airbnb though, so wait until you hit the two month mark to find out.

No offer here, but I received a 50% SC offer at the end of last week (for domestic) which doesn't end until the day before this new one. Fingers crossed the DSC one comes through as I have a US trip I to book for next year!

I flew MEL - LHR 5 days ago and bonus status credits have now been issued. (Bit of a surprise since I booked these flights outside of the promo period using a voucher for cancelled flights booked during the promo period - wouldn't have thought it would carry across)
