Gave QF a call and they could see the ghost flights (multiple) in the system for each time that AA messed with the flight. They have allocated me seats, but nothing spectacular sadly. Will see how it goes closer to time.

Interesting. I had a look again today on the AA system and i can see my ghost JFK-LAX flight still in the system, along with the new LGA-DFW-DEN=LAX routing. Time to give QF a call again.

No. Booked via QF, with AA legs through the US. Rebooked US legs via QF phone when AA cancelled my JFK-LAX sector.

Spent far too long on hold with AA, so gave up. But had a change in my flight times again, which led to having to select all my seats all over again. Noticed this on the QF website now: Quite weird.

Had a chat with the QF Business staff in BNE on my way through last week, and they couldn’t see anything in Amadeus either. Time to call AA I think.

Have tried through both AA.com and the AA app, both display a seat map with all seats marked as Unavailable. RJ shows available seats, but fails with the above errors on trying to allocate them. QF just says "Seatmap unavailable" They are all cash fare H class seats on AA on a RTW booked...

I'm trying to get this to work for AA flights on a QF PNR, at QF WP. The AA website just shows me a fully occupied seat map, and RJ shows the availability but when selecting it gives a weird error: At least one of your specific seat requests could not be processed. (4631 - 68202) One of your...

Even as WP its all but impossible to get availability on the phone, and certainly nothing online. Worst still is that the multi city booker clears all of your inputs every time it refreshes... which is every time on a 500 server error.

Only getting 500 errors here.

Yep, one colleague found that one out the hard way as he arrived into LAX. Just managed to get another colleague re-reouted via QF8 tomorrow.

Wrote in about the ORC and got an automated reply. But it must have dislodged something in their system because I got status credits for flights i took back in August that i had a Missing Points claim for... 🤣

Will be interesting to see if the flight is cancelled too. Same MO as my flight on the 25th.

Thanks. Very clear explanation and I will certainly email them. Hopefully they get back sooner as I am still waiting on credit for the BA flight that hasnt credited yet. At least i have a few options to tick over to WP1

So, recently I was on a very late QF11 which meant that I missed my QF codeshare AA flight and rebooked on a UA flight. Now I'm not normally one to really care about 10SC. But I was also on the cancelled QF93 and shuffled onto QF12 and then QF437. Now as it adds up I am all of 5SC short of WP1...

So QF93 on 25/11 was actually cancelled, as it was 2 days earlier as well. Some of us were reshuffled onto QF12 via Syd.

QF11 already announced a departure delay to 1335 from 1120. Will see how late we actually depart. Edit: now 1355 at 1247J

Depends if you are checked through on luggage. UA 99% of the time will check through to QF. From there dont exit the air side/secure area, just use the underground walkways to get from T7 through to TBIT. Never leave security in the US if you can help it, reclearing TSA is terrible.

Zulu is useful, but trying to convince anyone in the US about having to convert between anything and Juliet and it just about blows their mind. Its not like they don't have multiple timezones already...
