Wellington(NZ) airport is not that far from city(6km) and if you are traveling with 2 or more people, you might just catch a cab as it will cost $NZD 30-40 and take 10-15mins. However, if you travel alone and if you don't want to waste money for the cab or uber, you can always jump into the bus...
