Another possibility is Hoddles 1er. Peach / honey complex matches well, but 13.2%. It looks like VM may have their CM and JH confused with each other, so the 96 point CM may be a red herring.

Wine competitions are money making operations and are rigged. They probably won because they colluded with the organisers.

You won't find the 2014 on VM, Mark Gifford the winemaker has a small quantity for mailing list customers and a few of his retailers and restaurants. I doubt what is out there in retail land will last long. It's definitely a $30+ wine in my book.

BWS have a 25% off half dozens at the moment. I was able to get Pierro Chardonnay 2014 for $56 a pop.

5 Rose for me too, one of their shiraz and a half dozen Lino Ramble Grenache. WD have some great bargains occasionally which are too good to miss.

I kind of liked the adelina polish Hill river riesling but I like MBV more. Saw them in Bristol in 1989... nearly deafened me.

Im glad you discovered this wozza. Tried on tasting last year at the cellar door, i got some more from winebox warehouse in melbourne. $25/b which i think is good value. I was surprised at the quality from a coonawarra chardonnay and i like the lemon curd character running through it. Good stuff.

I've tried this one, and IMO it deserves the accolades. Great wine, great value.
