Thanks guys, managed to sort it out, I just had to call Emirates to confirm availability for the flight for two people, and then Amex were able to link my MR account to the Emirates account, and transfer my points at a 1:1 ratio. Got the flights booked...can't wait to try F class next month!

I think if you have the Platinum edge, you won't get the bonus points as it's still Ascent MR, you would just get your existing points moved into Ascent Premium by going on the Charge card. I could be wrong though, let's see what other board members think.

Re: Velocity Shop and NOT Earn Not just you, they've updated the page (obviously without bothering to run through a Test environment before deploying to Production), and I can't get to the eStore logged in without being directed to the main Velocity Page.

I had the same issue on two PCs, the common denominator was Chrome. To get the points I'm temporarily using MSIE when buying through the eStore.
