Hi did anyone else take the 160k points and Gold Status with Velocity and if so how long did it take for Velocity to process the free status upgrade?

I’ve got around 700k to use and noticed there is First reward seats offered under Etihad but can’t find any,has anyone ever seen a date on any route or is it just a mirage. Have seen the occasional business seat but would love to fly 1st as I’d never pay it.

ive got about 670k i was saving for a europe trip in business,my question is are Virgin likely to never resume long haul and just stick to domestic.Feels like a massive waste of points that i acculamated pre covid.

Hi i have been looking for Mel-dubai in J class using my velocity points there is some random availabilty for a 3 leg singapore airlines flighr but would prefer to fly Etihad but have had no luck finding even one date. Dates are flexible.Do velocity ever offer this route in J class?

Then i apply for a similar card with a different bank with the 75k salary and get instantly approved haha.go figure

I've just been knocked back my annual salary is 68k but goes up to 90k with overtime.i showed them the last 4 years tax assessment which shows this and they still knocked me back. Funny thing is they approved me for the rewards black with the exact same criteria just last year. Makes no sense

From my own experience I've always got the J seats I was after,but i noticed whenever i look at a certain flight 75% of the time its available about 1-2 weeks out,previously ive booked economy then copped the 7.5k fee to change to business.
