    Re: Wendouree 2016 allocations Generally speaking, most things I've read suggest the Clare had a solid but unspectacular vintage. Reds better than whites.

    Re: Wendouree 2016 allocations I've only been on the list for 2 years and got almost everything I asked for last year. Didn't get any straight shiraz or malbec the first year but, honestly, I think the blends are where it's at with these wines. More approachable now, that's for sure.

    It's tricky, I cracked the Shiraz Mataro last year and I found that was a bit too young to enjoy properly. The Cab/Malbec was the big favourite over on Winefront and was apparently drinking well now
