    EDR Targeted Bonus Point Promotions

I got 'spend over $250 and get 500 bonus points'. I really need to make smaller purchases! Anyway, with a family of 5 the wife did it easily today. A good points haul when coupled with Amex.

Re: 5,000 Free KrisFlyer Miles for New Accounts (or 3,703 Velocity Frequent Flyer Poi I checked it all out myself. Signed up the wife and kids to Velocity, family pooled and then signed them up to KrisFlyer. That was an easy 18,500 points (I hope).

    Current 40,000 point QC offer

Okay, that leads me to my next question. If I take the offer and join I would be paying a total of $895 which is $225 more than if I joined through AFF. Is 40,000 points worth the $225??

Hi all, I just received an email from Qantas. Recieve 40,000 points if I join Qantas Club before 17th Feb. If I were to join through AFF using the corporate rate would I still receive these bonus points? I have never been a member if that makes any difference. Apologies for lack of acronyms...
