It didn’t post within 72 hours so I called up and asked for the manual DSC rather than wait 6-8 weeks. Very patient and helpful people they have on the other end of the phone there, salute to them.

How does status-related seat blocking / availability for selection work on domestic and trans-Tasman 737 J? I presume row 1 is blocked until a certain period before the flight, but when and for whom? Is there any other logic applied to the other seats?
