QF change of schedule. Anything I can do?

Digging out this thread as I have now completed the flights. On the segment that got changed by Qantas, I did not received any status credits. It seems that I received points as if I had booked the flight directly with Emirates. Is that normal?

Planning for a FF award J ticket MEL-CDG with the family

My first flight in J with the family is getting a little more real every day. I have a little dilemna, we were hoping to fly back to France in business over Christmas 2016. MEL-AKL in F, worth it?

MEL-CDG in J with EK would cost me $619 pp in taxes, whereas flying CX is $157. Availability is great too. I'm happy to stand corrected though.

Commonwealth Platinum Awards - 40k Qantas Points. $10 fee.

When I spoke to my broker about the number of CC applications he wasn't bothered at all with them. He didn't think it would affect our chances to get finance approved. How did you put it to Ubank?

Find out whether a transaction is a purchase or cash adv on statement?

Hey there, Could anyone point me in the right direction? I can't see on my statement a way to differentiate purchase transactions from cash advances... I made a deposit to a gambling website using paypal (linked to my credit card) and I can't see whether it attracted higher fees or not nor...

    MEL-AKL in F, worth it?

Very true about the lounge. I was thinking it would be better to fly F on the way back as it's an evening flight. Diner menu would be nicer than breakfast? Also because of the kids we wouldn't be able to go to the lounge super early in the morning anyway. Whereas in AKL we'd have nothing else to...
