Im travelling to Japan again at begining of March. Works travel agent is trying to get me to take cheaper Thai Airlines flight instead of Qantas one I requested. I prefer Qantas because of my Platinum Status. Any info on what Thai airlines is like? Both flights would be in economy.

Unfortunately the travel website is not available to the public. Have to have a company login. Not crazy about using it and definitely not always cheaper than I can find.....but its policy. I can book hotels elsewhere but have to use it for airfares.

Doesnt matter which airport I goto. But i am limited in bookings. I have to use the company travel website to book.

I do still fly to the east coast on a regular basis. Am in Sydney this week actually. Just trying to figure best alternative for Japan . new position within company involves support for global applications group so I dont really know where Ill be going, before it was just Australia.

So over the next few months I have multiple trips to japan coming up. Unfortunately they will all be in economy. When I lived in Canberra it was easy I just flew Sydney to Tokyo. But now I live in Perth and the choices are different. I have gold on both Virgin and Qantas. I just need some advice...

Canberra is definetly different. But I like it anyway. And the airport is so much easier to get in and out of than IAH in Houston used to be.

Quantas is preferred but I do get a choice.

I lived in Houston at the end. But lived in the Poconos for years.

Just saying hi. Used to be a regular flyer back in the US and have started flying with work here in Australia now. I find it much easier flying here :)
