The trip was good, not something I think I would do again. As for those who said the Sydney trip was too full, I could walk all day virtually non stop, she coudln't :P but thats ok. The wedding was excellent, the birthday bash was more of a walk around the sanctuary (as he conked out halfway...
Odds are I would only have been able to walk in, grab a drink then walk out, but I thank you for trying, and thank you to everyone for the great and advice and occasional assurance, it has been very helpful (and sometimes entertaining :) ).
I'll have to add sugar to the list of avoid, i can't drink coffee (upsets my stomach) and I don't drink alcohol, but I've been told to avoid caffeine (soda) in favor of water, with the dual purpose of staying hydrated (to fight jet lag and dvt) and so it makes you get up for the restroom, which...
Seen the pictures and read the info online, besides limited selection quantity limited severely near the end of the flight,i will have roughly 1 meal worth of breakfast bars just in case, I'm fat, I tend to eat at least double the average 375 lbs (~170 kg)
Hard to believe it was that empty, having said that I am going on an off day (Thursday) but I also have 80A, with all the room for my legs I could want :)
Edit, extra question, will I have access to my carry on while in the air (or do those bins stay closed the whole flight) I plan to have...
Thank you again, as for key quay,i still think of it..... When reading it, incorrectly, but have the habit of pronouncing correctly as my friend doesn't like hearing certain things (key, bane, born)
if I was to consider this, would this be something like what you mean. I've never even been into a station or tunnel, or anything else of this type so it is hard for me to picture.
Thank you again for your time, and I'm still curious, if the train can make it to another station that far away...
shows +2 minutes to the station, but -1 for the walk (how SHORT a time do they STOP). Either wouldn't bother me and thank you for the advice, this may be the better option, lots of reviews are against the CLIMB up to shangri-la. Just to verify, Wynyard is the next stop after Circular Quay Right?
With further options @9:44, 9:50, and 9:59 (9 min 6 min 9 min)
question, is that $15.36, plus the $13 access fee, or just $15.36?
edit, no opal card, shows fare as 17, again, with or without the "access" fee?
edit2, pic not expandable, replaced
Estimated at 30-40, won't train be roughly 15 per person (2 of us), and if I read right, trains every 9 mins, this I will have to consider if traffic is that bad
Just noticed something, the train can get me into the city faster than the cab (not at the hotel but maybe close) probably cheaper as well?. I don't have the option of train here, too far out of the city and they use buses, thank you for that information.
edit
cheaper :) but 18 mins by taxi...
The zoo is for the friend I am visiting, she wants to see that particular one, as for the rest when not at work I do a lot of sitting, perfect chance to be about waking, if I don't make all of that I won't be upset, but the other 14 (Ipswich/Brisbane/sunshine coast) days will be restful, the...
noted on that post
agreed, but any way i try to slice it i don't have the money to pay the airfare, hotel and barrier reef expense, so that is one I'm going to have to accept.
They actually only gave me 1 hour 10 mins to connect coming back (QF7) but changed my departure time 10 mins earlier...
Several flights have changed on me now, bumping this thread and preparing for the big dip, from 9 months or so from first post, to less than 2 months to go now. Plans have been refined below, and again, anyone interested in saying hi when I get there, just let me know :).
Red times are the...
knew about hungry jacks and backwards on the sides, am currently on skype with my friend (who i am going to visit) and she strongly seconds that i MUST watch the castle :)
