    its as simple as having a car seat attachment pack loaded onto each aircraft and kept as part of the aircrafts emergency equipment. I agree, it is a shame as it is proven that car seats are most definatley safer than infants on laps or tiny infants in their own seat with just a lap belt.

    sadly Metro Air - every commercial airline these days IS a bus in the sky.. regardless of what part of the cabin you are in, or which airline you are on.. there is always an economy (bus) section filled with the rest of society. Because thats all flying is - getting from one place to another...

    Metro Air: i was simply reassuring the fearful flyer that flying any airline in australia is perfectly safe... it was primarily a discussion about safety. Yes, low cost carriers are simply busses in the air.. but so are most other planes thesedays (gone are the glory days of Pan Am type flying)...

Unfortunatley, without bringing down my collegues too much (we are actually quite smart hehe) there are always some people in every job who do not know...
