Not 100% sure. I've got 3 QFF numbers, 2 of them I can apply online myself, remove and add them back. The third which was on my main accounts throws an error if I try and add it.

I *think* they have internally blocked our QFF numbers so I'd need to get a new QFF account to do so. EDIT: Yep. They are blocked from what I can tell.

FOS will have them extend it. Let BW know you're submitting a FOS complaint for not giving the full 14 days. I doubt it's a legal requirement but even when I worked @ CBA we always gave 14 days from the day the customer was notified so there must be some kind of guideline/FOS ruling somewhere.

You won't need to FOS that. An internal complaint will get them paid. Given they are not claiming abuse of account etc they have no grounds to refuse. Even if they claimed abuse of account I wouldn't accept it. I accept they can close our accounts, but if it was abuse then they would have done...
