    Didnt expect this...

Re: possibly a buffer damage. You must know, proverbially speaking, how to dance so to speak with the buffer. Ie, Up right Down left A tiny hand movement, to move it along, just like a "relationship". Make a wrong move and it all comes down in a heap, heh, just like QF. If you hesitate, maybe...

Qantas Travel Money changing to Qantas Pay - May 2024

Never put too much $ into this account, just using it to peter/pether QFF points, and not let the QFF account points die due to no activity. I used to have quarterly bills taken from this account, but now seeing that no Aus company runs it, have changed to other providers. Only now use it for...

    Scams like these

This is probably more geared to scare the seller, rather than a/the buyer. As the seller is the one who is up for/liable to GST, if they trade commercially, I think more than $75000 a year. --- Nothing comes up under BingAI for/of the "article 1920 of the tax code", US/Aus.

    Didnt expect this...

Sad to see someone would do something like that, but also, that QF or BAC didnt feel it imprtant to repair the damage.

Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

I think buses (in re to SYD T1/T2&T3) does make sense, not everyone will want to get to the city. Some might live in East Gardens or Burwood, which would still be faster with the wind(e)y and hilly bus services, can be a bit headachy too using the bus/es. Granted that there are ways of getting...

Rex launches its own frequent flyer program (in October 2023)

No FF partners, but I think there is a sort of something of an agreement between ZL and DL... Could be wrong, but I think maybe that their liaison with DL is only that each will carry eachs flight number on/as an extension of the others flights, but as for earning, most likely not, think I read...

Rex launches its own frequent flyer program (in October 2023)

Er, um, did I see that right. REX flyer, according to pointshac*s website, has an annual fee of $1450? --- Re: colleague Mel_traveller, not sure, didnt go indepth. But with what I thought I read with that on pointhac*ks, $1450 a year for the joining fee is a lot of $. Only good thing about...

    The Qantas Newbie Questions Thread

For member Montecristo: Sometimes, they hold the QF T3 to T1 bus, till its chockers standing room plus sitting down pax and then the bus will go off on its way from gate 15 via the internal road, to T1 and then have to get up the long escalator to int dep processing at T1, bypassing the T1 check...

Who Profits when You Earn Points/Miles ❓🤔

But its the valuable data, that we give WWR and QFF that is valuable to them. Public Transport to our airports - what's cheapest?

I dont feel that the NSW govt will buy back the system, or compulsorily acquire it/take back control of the stations. They at the moment take their cut, ie, the profits, and have no part in the running of the system, which probably suits them, as its cheaper than also having to pay staff and...

How best to use points for a young family?

For Blackcat20, at least with QFF SG, your upgrade chances or ops are higher than those of us who are QFF NB! But yes, I have been at QFF SG before, so I know how nice it is to just flash the SG QFF card at the lounge entry point, to then just walk past with a smile. I only fly rev $ to NZ...

Escalating a complaint with Air NZ

Welcome on board AFF Airlines. As for escalation, I dont know. How best to use points for a young family?

As a NB, your opps for upgrades are below those of higher status members. Maybe pay for 3 premY seats, ($$$ I know), but at least you know, even if you have to fly CX, at the least you know you will have a bit more space than the Y down the back. If you were SG, or WP/P1, then I would say, go...

Qantas Travel Money changing to Qantas Pay - May 2024

Heh, maybe its my google phone. Will try again. In the past few days, the only way to stop the red circle, in my case was to uninstall the app, and then reinsall it. But so far, the website has kept track of my balance. Its the 2fa that takes time each to log in. --- Still circling, from my try...

Qantas Travel Money changing to Qantas Pay - May 2024

Probably less. If the RBA tightens the visa and mastercard debit cards more, it might indeed be the end of the debit side QFF points earn. Heritage and Peoples Choice, didnt want to upgrade their systems for this, so they gave up, and EML at a lower cost base, took over. Years ago, visa and...
