Fellow frequent flyers I have a current OWA booking that I will reluctantly cancel at 9pm Queensland time tonight 29Sept2023. Not sure when they will appear available on the website Hopefully this will give a heads up to members who are interested in these flights. 13/10/23 00:55 BNE-HKG...

On 31 August, replaced 4 flights with 3 new flights with Fiji call centre. Finished call at 2:30pm. Waited nervously and monitoring flights every hour or so, in case flights disappear (which has happened back in November when I lost flights and had to find new flights. This was before Qantas...

Thanks for sharing. Very happy to see you have been successful with minimum anger and frustration and worry. I booked my original OWA trip online Nov last year, then had to ring and made some changes. J flights were lost and each call seemed to have made it worse until I gave up and told them...

That's comforting to know. Has anyone tried the Twitter channel successfully for something like replacing 4 existing flights with 2 new ones in a 8 flight OWA booking?

Pathetic [Where are the advertised extra award seats? ]

That's good news. Can you confirm that your changes were just changes to dates and flight numbers but do not include deleting flights and adding new route segments outside of Australia?

Definitely agree that GCMap should be used only as a guide. In my case, I have included tolerances in the GCMap calculations and maybe my tolerance allowed is not enough. So from now, should only aim to reach upto about 29000 miles with a tolerance of about 6000 miles. When I spoke to the...

Just got off the phone after speaking to an agent who insisted that the system calculating my one world classic award flights took me over the 35000 miles, and therefore could not cap the points at 280K for business class. Schedule 1 ver 1. ------------------------ BNE-HKG, 3742 HKG-SFO(s/o)...

So do I. Will be going for YVR - YUL flight in Y on our own. Lucky it's only a short trip. And count that as a surface segment.

Yes. No availability from ORD, JFK, LAX, SFO, PHL to YUL around the dates of 25th May 2020. At least no AA flights, all Westjet. Also explored YUL-ORD-YVR with no success. No problem with YUL - MIA/FLL or MIA - MVD.

Does any member have any experience of flying QF127 Sydney - HKG and 1 hour later flying from HKG - SFO on CX892 and has anyone missed their connecting flight because of only 1 hour in transit? I am feeling uneasy with the 1 hour transit even though it is allowed. For a 2 person One World...

Can anyone help please? If I land in GIG and then a few days later fly from EZE, would GIG be considered a stopover? I believe GIG - EZE would be considered a surface segment. If a flight segment is booked but not paid for/ticketed, does the website reflect that the number of seats for that...

comforttravel previously asked I haven't been able to find the rules that apply to: a) if a city has >1 airport (eg London, Paris, Tokyo, New York) and you transit that city (<24 hrs) by arriving at 1 airport (eg LHR) and depart at a 2nd airport (eg LGW), is that counted as a transit, or is it...
