It's a long time since I was lucky, but IIRC the ruby, silver, etc. is based only on the number of years you have been with them, not on whether you have claimed. IIRC the insurance certificate did have a reference somewhere to max no claims discount. In any case, I did not get pulled up on it...

Depends how many people jump on it. The living abroad to get BA Gold was bubbling along quite merrily until people started shouting about it, it took off in a big way and it was nixed very quickly.

I do wonder at the wisdom of posting advice on how to exploit loopholes on an open forum. If too many people do that, the loopholes can close really quickly.
