Is there a way to still speak to the UK booking team in the evenings? Need to use up a voucher for a booking you can't do on their website, and now I'm meet with a 'we're closed' message.

The problem with the generic credits is that there is no value-add. It's getting a bit pointless to pay $1400 then clamour to use $1150 of credit each year and hope your still up elsewhere.

I haven't tested it yet, but they said they changed the billing code they use back to the original one, which gains full points.

I've just been in correspondence with Bluechain. They are back to paying full points for ATO spend. (They were in Feb - I paid a BAS, but not in May when I did a test after others here mentioned reduced rate)

I got the usual 2.25ppd when I made by BAS payment to ATO in Jan via Bluechain. Statement says BC*Australia Tax Office

The first $1000 per month on EBP is fee-free. So this will influence it's effective cost.

EBP seems to have smartened up their act and it looks like ATO payments with a visa/MC card will be 0.8% (less first $1000 per month fee-free). This is a fairly tight margin over the ATO direct fee of 0.7/0.78%. Opens up all the cards back into the game. Or am I missing something?

Just called Amex and got a bit of a run around. While waiting for their call back, I struck gold - I now have two Bonvoy accounts - and if I log in with the SPG number (as shown on the Amex benefits page) I'm still Gold.

I agree. It's worked great and @ferni has been really helpful and understanding with some issues (using a domestic card but through an international PayPal account). After Deval-Day, the fee needs to drop to about 1.2% to compete with the dragon. This would seem unlikely given PayPal's stared...
