I'm on this flight (LAX-SYD) on Friday night, wondering about security. Which is quicker, security at T4 then connector to TBIT, or walk to TBIT after checking in and going through security there?
I recently flew out of TBIT on AA but on a morning domestic leg, the terminal was all but...
1/9 DCA AA2147 10am
1/9 LGA AA363 1:30pm
1/9 ORD AA2225 3:30pm
30/9 LAX AA73 11pm
1 guest spot if on same flight (or on a oneworld flight?). All times are flight times.
26/8 LAX AA110 9:45am
26/8 ORD AA365 4:40pm
30/8 JFK AA2183 3pm
One guest spot available if on same flight (or maybe just a oneworld flight?). Times are flight times times.
I spent some time looking into this recently. There is a very long thread on flyer talk here: Boeing 777-300ER - "77W" Best Economy and Main Cabin Extra / MCE seat (consolidated) - FlyerTalk Forums.
I believe row 19 has full recline, and a divider behind so you won't inconvenience those...
re: Discussion/Q&A on Best QF Status Run Options
It really depends on what you are looking for and where you will be. I've found some reasonable routings for LAX-PHX-SEA-PHX-LAX (but I want to go to SEA anyway). LAX-DFW-ORD-DFW-LAX can sometimes be good value for 360SC's, and you can get some...
No, it means caffeinated substances are associated with a reduced risk. It doesn't claim causation, it doesn't say that using caffeinated substances causes a reduced risk of crashing. The sentence "A reduced risk of crashing is associated with using caffeinated substances for long distance...
I recently had this issue, flying on an AA operated flight with a QF number. Checkmytrip didn't help, but I was able to put my QF booking reference into the AA mobile app, and it showed my booking and the AA booking reference.
re: Discussion/Q&A on Best QF Status Run Options
Looks better than those even, especially out of LAX not YVR. I've been looking at runs out of LAX, haven't found something that good yet, but I'm sure something will pop up. The LAX-DFW-ORD return is an option, doable in one day and the SC earn...

NationalRail is great for trains! Book in advance, but check what type of ticket you are getting (specific service or not etc.). The UK train system is pretty good, but it can be a bit pricey.
Are you doing an Aero Masters at Cranfield? I have a friend who did that ~2 years ago, had an absolute...
I have an Osprey Porter 30, no wheels. For me it's brilliant, plenty of space, and it has 2 straps to compress the contents. It's really well made, and weighs less than 1kg. Worth having a look at if you can find one to check out, and if you think you can manage without wheels. The only issue is...
I'm in a somewhat similar position, and wondering what people would suggest, hope it's not too big a thread hijack. I'm currently QF SG, and moving to LA for 2-3 years. I'll be able to get my 4 ~'s each year so maintaining QF status is no problem. I wont be earning many miles/points through...
