I've used Woolworths Global Roaming Sim in Europe and was quite happy with it. They have excellent voice and data rates there.

Depends where you travel I guess. With woolies sim I got 1GB UK data bundle for $21.00. Did the trick for my whole stay in UK. Their european bundles are bit more expensive but still quite good value compared to regular data roaming charges.

Do they ask for your ID or proof of residence when buying the sim?

Does anyone have any experience with getting a local SIM in US? Is it a big hassle?
