Same thing happened to me, I phoned them up, they suggested I wait 5 business days then call again ie: next weekend.

You get more points but no additional SC. I've had mixed results with getting Fly Ahead if I don't have a flexi and I'm WP.

The only value they really offer is Fly Ahead and SCs

Big difference in fair prices, I chose to fly with Singapore Air earlier this year MEL -> JNB as there was a ~$500 price difference for a Flexi.
