QPI is back in service operating QF61/QF62 sectors today. QPE is now in the hangar after arriving from SIN this morning.

The new A330 configuration has made its first appearance on todays CGK runs (QF41/QF42) with VH-QPA operating these sectors and funnily enough is operating out of Terminal 2E (Garuda's own terminal for international flights) instead of Terminal 2D for some reason. The only Asian destination...

Looks like VH-EBS is finally in for refurbishment. It's been at BNE since 26/4 after operating QF650, although it could be in for just regular maintenance. We'll give it a week at least to confirm it.

From what i've read elsewhere EBH/EBI have some sort of weight restriction as part of the lease agreement so I don't think QF could refurbish these aircraft.

Yes I too have heard it'll be two international configured A332's. From what i've heard it's VH-EBH/EBI which will leave the fleet. VH-EBG/EBL will remain for CGK and HNL runs.

EBN was just in for a quick maintenance check it's currently operating QF650, which leaves the hangar empty. Also heard that QPE is due to position to SIN for a repaint tomorrow.

QPB is due to operate QF51 in about 30mins. QPD has entered the hangar.

All Jetconnect 737's are non-BSI and have the traditional overhead lockers. Also Jetconnect aircraft were originally registered in Australia (remember that VH-VZT was the first BSI aircraft for QF): VH-VZF - ZK-ZQA VH-VZG - ZK-ZQB VH-VZH - ZK-ZQC VH-VZI - ZK-ZQD VH-VZJ - ZK-ZQE VH-VZK - ZK-ZQF...

It seems that QPB is due to operate either QF51 or QF97 today as both flights show the new J configuration! (Based on EF searches) Those lucky pax :p QPD is currently inbound on QF52 and should enter the hangar afterwards.

Do you mean the red leather Recaro J class seats on the newish BSI 737's or the new A330 J suites?. You'll find that the A330 J suites will be too heavy for the 737's unless payload restrictions are imposed which I don't think QF wants to do on TT runs. Though that doesn't justify why they...

Re: General Qantas Delays/Cancellations/etc. Discussion BA use the Trent 970B-84 (A380-841-) on their A380's, whilst QF use the (Higher Thrust Variant) Trent 972B-84 (A380-842-) so BA can't provide a spare engine. As JB has said there isn't spares just lying around, so it does take time!
