Hmmm interesting. I would say your aircraft would be a VAI aircraft but they probably didn't update it on the booking page. I think VAI is 29 rows and VA Domestic is the normal 30 row config. Just going by my seat selection page for both those flights. Otherwise, it is probably an old Boeing...

Thanks for that. I have also noticed the MEL - DPS, SYD - DPS and BNE - DPS are operated by 738 as well. Usually, these flights are in a lot newer aircraft. I am not quite too sure they are the older 737-800's.

Hi everyone, I just noticed one of my flights changed for a 73H to a 738. What is the difference between the two aircraft? The second flight is still listed as a 73H I have also noticed one flight has 29 rows and the second has 30 rows.. Both have economy starting at Row 3. Strange?

Thought so - that is International aircraft. I did a search and they flew that on Brisbane to Denpasar the other day.

VA803 (MEL - SYD) on Monday was also operated by VIRGIN AUST INTL FOR VIRGIN AUST by the booking screen. The 737-800 used on that route is VH-VUW. I think they are changing their aircraft one by one to this new AOC. I am 99% sure though that you will have an aircraft that flies internationally...

Speaking of their international airline, I was looking at flights for February next year and some Domestic flights are listed as "Operated By Virgin Australia International for Virgin Australia" rather than "Operated by Virgin Australia" which the other flights are listed as. This is very strange.

I think so too. As long as 1 person on the booking is a Frequent Flyer, it should work :D

Does the code work for bookings with more than 1 person? If I put my Velocity number in and add additional guests with no Velocity?

I have been on 2 flights so far this year and Priority Boarding they called upon Gold and Platinum members but also those guests who need assistance, the elderly and families traveling with children. Might explain why the Priority Boarding is getting crowded but I like the idea of allowing these...
