Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

That's unfortunate, might be the timing nearing the end of the promotion support were really busy?

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

Yes if you do the screensho CBR is bookable and showing SQ availability on the standard smart search or star alliance search, just not when you search singapore only (unless you put in a dummy origin eg. syd, then right click on it and select 'inspect' from the drop down. search for 'syd' in...

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

Not all star alliance airlines have award tickets made available for every flight. try syd > bkk > dps (searching seperately) as thai always have good availability.

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

Yeah I understand you would get the more limited sleeper service menu on the overnight flights. Still, when flying to north asia/Japan you either have a night in a hotel for 24 hours or have one overnight leg. As the flight is shorter BKK/SIN > Japan It might be better to have the overnight leg...

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

I noticed availability for TG F SYD-BKK is currently only available until around 6th of December. As mentioned earlier in the thread, has anyone seen a pattern to suggest this is a new release timeframe for TG F? The discussion on whether they were swapping to A350s seems to be settled for now...

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion There is references to a eurobonus promotion last year in the with a similar mattress run strategy. it seems people have managed to have stays credited at cheap asian hostels where it appears unlikely they would register the no shows back to...

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Thanks all for the opinions and this tip, I've got 476 out and 475 home (a380 onwards from bkk) so should be fine! I wouldn't be complaining about old F for what I'm paying.

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Yeah although I was under the impression they were still occassionally flying the 10 seat 747 F cabin with the angle flat seats and roll down projector screen on SYD BKK? I wonder if this would be worth the premium over new a350 J?

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Thanks, wouldn't mind giving SQ a go just for variety. So there will still be a chance of being TGed ex syd after august? I've got a F flight out of syd in september, I wonder if the a350 J hard product might trump the older 747 F?

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Thanks will check this out. I was seeing good availability from CBR but will also check out syd. again I guess it depends on the hard product offered on these routes.

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Thanks for this, I will check out aeroplan and familiarize myself with singapore's aircraft to see if its worth it vs thai's business which is much less hassle.

Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion

re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion Thanks very good summary For SG, is there absolutely no space made available to lifemiles ex melbourne? I've been trying to find some. I have seen availability from another east coast city in J to singapore (with a trick to) so it may not be...

Lifemiles 2x1 + bonus is back Feb 2017

Regarding the different rates, within the lifemiles promotion email I recieved it stated: "As an exclusive offer for you because you bought in the last promotion 2x1 miles, if you buy in this promotion you will receive additional 10% on each level." So this may be why.

Garuda 90% off award bookings until Dec 31st

Dang, presumably those who have reserved the 90% off seats would still be able to follow through with their booking considering Garuda's justification via twitter is that all promo seats are gone.

    Hello Forum

Hi, About to sign up and realised I had registered some time ago. I have been frequented this site for some time. I love to travel and fly well though my role wouldnt warrant more than 1 China trip per year. I therefore take a strategy to ensure that when I do fly, it's in a premium cabin...
