Another classic Qantas f up. They didn't ticket you in time so you lost the MH flight. That leg is now at the discretion of MH. I would say they are "liable" but knowing Qantas, they won't do anything and wipe their hands clean of any responsibilities.

Do NOT try to change it even if the agent says you can. Qantas will fail to ticket and you will have a huge headache.

Worth calling to book/check availability. Just say "your website is broken" to avoid booking fee.

So good and bad news. Good news: Qantas reward ticketing escalations team came through and reissued the ticket with new dates/flights. Bad news: they only reticketed after we booked backup flights using cash.

Currently on a Oneworld RTW reward booking and a few legs have been flown. Made some date changes to onward legs, which Qantas took payment for. No e-ticket issued after multiple follow up calls. Latest call the agent said cannot reissue as the date changes were not allowed??? Now no onward...

Yeah we automatically got reticketed with the updated flight time already. Same PNR but different e-ticket number. It came through without issues so definitely don't know why the MCT issue didn't trip

I wish the Qantas phone monkeys listened to what I say. The keep insisting X can only be rebooked on X even after I cite their own policy. Will escalate via dedicated email but not hopeful.

Not sure how to fight it / proceed. Qantas phone monkeys seem to think it can only be rebooked on open reward seats. Even their own policy (which I don't agree with), says cannot cross booking class for (X - reward ticket)...

It's all ticketed right now with the 1hr15m transit. The earlier flight is about 3hrs earlier so a decent chunk of time gone. Is it true they can only rebook us on open/available reward seats??
