Row 13 is fine - I've never had issues with noise from toilets / galley behind. Agree with others it is a much better choice than the main J cabin behind!

That's it! I'm definitely trying Cathay on my next HK trip - the chance to try their new(ish) J seat (flat!) and actually get fed something decent like that has just squashed my little bit of remaining QF loyalty. Goodbye cafe breakfast... :-) Thanks for sharing.

That actually looks worse than the croissant! How do they get away with this? I had the "pleasure" of the cafe breakfast on QF30 a few months ago and will be doing the same trip in a couple of weeks. Sigh...
