Considering it was the only fatal crash involving a Concorde, and the crash was caused by large debris on the runway rather than any mechanical fault - The crash shouldn't have been a big factor.

Are you able to change your anniversary date? Mine is currently 31st January. I tend to fly more at the end and start of a year - so this is the worst possible time for having an anniversary.

Of course - but the context of the response was more suited to someone that had lost their SC's, and was complaining to Qantas expecting them to return the SC's because they had not read the T&C's. Losing my SC's unexpectedly was what triggered my post - however I'm not for one moment...

Well aware of it - however the new system (after ironing out the hiccups) appears to be much better. SC's have been credited extremely quickly lately.

Your post would be far more relevant if I was blaming Qantas and expecting them to refund my points. I am entitled to comment on the way their FF program works - that's the whole point of the forum. I am commenting on the parameter's they have set, and comparing them to another program.

Definitely easier to understand the Qantas system - however it also means that SC's could be 2 days old and get binned. A total waste of credits. The Virgin system is a little more confusing to understand - but I feel it's more fair. If I earn SC's, I can keep them for 12 months.

I just did Syd-LAX and back with lots of internals with Delta. The Delta points appeared on my account within a few hours on most occasions, and by the next morning at the worst.
