Hi there I've managed to score a rewards point trip to the UK (Qantas Bus then First!) but as it's a rewards trip and there's no direct from SYD to LHR, I have to travel from Sydney via Melbourne to London. What does this mean for checking in and transit in Melbourne? I've never done this...

I booked a RTW flight with Best Flights, leaving tomorrow. Last week I checked the baggage allocation and it seems I have: 2 x bags per person - Sydney to London 1 x bags per person - London to Rome NO x bags per person - Rome to NY 2 x bags per person - NY to Sydney I've called Qantas, BA...
