Check in lady at MEL yesterday forgot to give me an Express for my VA7 flight to LAX and I completely forgot that I needed it at BNE, but luckily I still had an unused one from a previous trip in my travel wallet. I'm assuming it's okay to actually ask for one if it's not offered at check-in??

Was all good this morning - VA7 from Brisbane arrived early at around 6.10am and the lines were fine. VA1 from Sydney had just landed as well.

I'm pretty sure the way it's supposed to work is that you get notified about 24-72 hours prior to each sector for which you've won your upgrade.
