    New 3 class 747 layout - QF7/8/15/16/107/108

Forgive me if I am asking this in the wrong forum, but I have my first flight in J coming up in a couple of weeks on QF7/8 and have managed to secure 5B both ways (which the consensus seems to be is a great seat for single travelers). I have never had the privilege of being in an exit row on an...

Advice needed on LHR arrival lounges

Not positive, but don't all BA flights from Oz land at T3? I understand that you can use the AA arrivals lounge in T3, however.

    Emirates and Qantas

Have to agree Freepyjamas....especially as I can only assume from the OP that s/he is flying from Brisbane, then I can only see being seated on EK metal instead of QF as a DOWNGRADE. For my flights next May BNE to AMS I would have been on QF metal all the way to LHR on fully flat beds (my...

Qantas / Emirates tie up (Partnership inc. Codeshare, Status)

Thanks mannej for the heads up, but from what I can see on both the Emirates website and the EKSource, Emirates uses the 777-300ER out of Brisbane. Both of these sources also say the lie-flat seat is available on MOST of the services operated by 777-300ERs. Seat Guru says these are the angled...

Qantas / Emirates tie up (Partnership inc. Codeshare, Status)

Agreed ChrisCunard, my 2c worth is that my J fare from Brisbane to Europe will be an inferior product now, as I am booked on a QF flight in May 2013 Brisbane to Singapore on one of the refurbished 747 to connect to the QF9 service from Singapore to London, all on Skybed MK11, so lie flat beds...

    Galleries access... NOT quite 'reinstated'?

Hi simongr...so if I am flying BA Business on a QF flight number I should be able to access Galleries lounge based on class of travel? I will be using London Heathrow Terminal 5 to Amsterdam as well as Munich to London and on to Bangkok then back on QF to Sydney

    Galleries access... NOT quite 'reinstated'?

Thanks simongr. I had been wondering as I am a QC member, but both the BA and QC websites are confusing in their wording.

    Galleries access... NOT quite 'reinstated'?

I am confused (it doesn't take much though....) after reading through all of these responses. If I am traveling in Business on a BA operated flight but with a QF flight number, will I have access to the Galleries lounges in London and continental Europe?

Just joined, looking forward to being part of this community

Hello all, Just came across this website while I was looking for advice on seat selection on Qantas. I am so excited about any advice you can give me, as I have flown Qantas International in Economy plenty of times, but this time I am treating my wife and myself to Business. Will be flying...
